Sky card

Is anyone out there having trouble receiving itv channels, no signal!

For the last two months, we were getting a reminder ( on the screen, every half an hour ) that we had to replace our Sky card before the end of October, otherwise we would loose ITV, channel 5, and some other channels. The message refered us to the Sky website, which confirmed this. For most of the time, we were away, and didn't do anything about it.
November 4th today - , nothing has changed except the message has disappeared.

It sounds like you have been unlucky - check out Sky TV website.
we just have the basic card - one-off 40 euro charge for two years, yet it has lasted four years to date.
Last year, for two months, we discovered we had access to every single channel offered on the Sky menu , but maybe that was a " free taster " on what they offer.

Maybe was just bad weather ,
Or the skycard about to expire?
Now working perfectly again.
Good to know basic card available, will check out sky website,
