AngloINFO can help you understand all the steps you need to take to plan a legally recognised marriage. It's not that straightforward - the legal marriage takes place at the Mairie and before that can be approved to happen, a number of official documents are needed.

The AngloINFO INFOrmation Page Getting Married in France explains the essentials you need to know about making an application to marry, the paperwork you will need to present and where you need to go.

PACS may in fact be used by any couple wishing to establish a life together. Find out all about this contract and how to make it happen with the INFOrmation Page PACS: the Pacte Civil de Solidarite.

Once the paperwork's in order there's a party to plan! AngloINFO has extensive listings of local English-speaking businesses able to help with all the details. Make a start by looking in The AngloFILE directory categories for:

And remember, you can ask other locals for recommendations on how to put together a perfect wedding day with Classifieds & Discussions: Entertainment.
