Dordogne (24) Regional & Departmental Transport 

The Trans-Périgord network links main cities in the Dordogne and south Charente by bus. Ten lines serve the region taking in towns including Mareuil, Brantome, Périgeaux, Riberac, Bergerac, Eymet and Sarlat.

Standard tickets are fixed at two euros with discounts available for frequent travellers, under 25s and job seekers.

Périgueux urban transport 

Péribus is the urban service to the city. The website (in French) includes detailed maps of the lines, timetables and tariffs.

handibus is a subdivision which provides adapted buses for mobility impaired people; these are available on reservation.

Bergerac urban transport 

TUB (Transports Urbains Bergeracois) provides a regular bus service in three lines through the city with a main depot at Place de la République, next to rue Neuve d’Argenson (opposite the Tourist Office). 

There is a fixed price single ticket valid for one hour, and discount ticket books (carnets), weekly and monthly tickets available for scholars and frequent travellers. Discounts are available for the unemployed and their children.

Travel is free from Saturday 13:30 to Monday morning. Tickets are sold on the bus and at the Mairie, Tourist Office and other administration offices in town

Gironde (33)  Regional & Departmental Transport 

The TransGironde is an interurban bus network serving 64 lines and reaching 374 communes. The  website of the Conseil Général Gironde has route maps and timetables. Reduced price tickets and travel cards are available for students and frequent travellers. In July and August the Bus-Plage provides is a single price return ticket service to the beaches of the Gironde. There is also a "bus on demand" service for towns not reached by a regular line.

Bordeaux urban transport 

La CUB (the Communauté Urbaine de Bordeaux) has a regular bus and tram service covering almost 100 lines through the communes of the city of Bordeaux. The service includes the Navette Electrique (electrical shuttle) and night bus serving the city centre and Créabus which is a small bus shuttle service (also available "on demand") which connects outlying areas with the main bus lines. Discount passes are available to students, unemployed, disabled, large families and groups.

Libourne urban transport 

LIBUS serves the commune of Libourne with regular routes, a school service, a daily market shuttle and "bus on demand". The timetable and route maps can be downloaded from the website.

Lot-et-Garonne Regional & Departmental Bus Service

Regional bus services from Agen run through the département and connect the towns of Marmande, Nérac, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Pau, Mont-de-Marsan and more.

Agen urban transport 

TRANSBUS provides a regular bus and school bus service throughout the agglomeration of Agen. Sunday has a reduced service. There is also a "bus on demand" for towns off the regular routes and adapted busses for passengers with reduced mobility and wheelchairs. 

There is a variety of ticket options (season tickets, scholar and frequent traveller.) A single trip ticket is a fixed price and bought from the driver on board the bus. The website has a downloadable PDF listing destinations served by the buses.
