A Night at the Cinema

While there's an almost limitless choice of ways to watch movies - on satellite television, DVD, over the Internet - nothing can take the place of watching a film on the big screen, in the hushed darkness of a movie theatre. That's why AngloINFO brings you a complete guide to all the locally-available films in English.

weekly on Wednesdays

Every Wednesday morning, when the new week's cinema schedule is announced in France, AngloINFO takes this information and updates the English-Language Cinema page with all the local films that are showing in English - in their "original language" (VO or version original).

  • To find out what's on in English in your area, go to the Movies page (you can find it from the Front Page or a link on the left side menu)
  • Using the drop down menus on the Movies page, you can select a location, a film by title, or see what's showing on a particular day... or just browse the list
  • Each movie's title is a link, taking you to The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) where you can find out more about the movie, its stars, and read reviews from the world's top critics.

If the cinema in your town or village isn't listed one week, it simply means there's nothing on in English; try again next week.
